Sri Lanka—a nation not widely familiar to many of us back home. Yet, upon this land, solar energy is quietly scripting a unique narrative of energy transition. Feshion Solar was privileged to receive an invitation from our partners to visit the country and explore this phenomenon firsthand.
While visiting our long-standing clients, we also reached out to several other local companies in Colombo engaged in the solar new energy sector, and were fortunate enough to pay them a visit. The insights gained from this round of visits have left us even more optimistic and full of anticipation regarding the future prospects of solar energy in the country. As we look forward to more opportunities for collaboration, we also hope to see an increasing number of Sri Lankan households and business owners join the ranks of solar energy adopters.
Our week-long visit passed by in a flash. During our time on this island nation—neither too large nor too small—it felt, at times, as though time itself had slowed down, even though we were there on business. Nevertheless, we remained deeply captivated by the scenery—by every blade of grass and every tree. It is our hope that solar energy will bring greater prosperity to this nation, benefiting more of the local residents, while also playing a pivotal role in preserving its natural resources and breathtaking landscapes.
